Sheri Roumell Receives Roy Kemp Award at 2016 PTEC Conference

 

Congratulations to Sheri Roumell on receiving the Roy Kemp Award at the 2016 PTEC Conference in Charlotte, NC. Sheri received her B.S. in Management from the University of Mary in North Dakota in 2010. She is a graduate from the Pharmacy Technology program at Casper College and has been a certified pharmacy technician since 2003. Sheri started teaching at Casper College in 2004 as an adjunct instructor. She became the director for the Pharmacy Technology program in 2006 and still holds this role today as well as full time instructor. At Casper College, she develops and maintains curriculum and laboratory facilities for on campus students as well as distance learning classes. Sheri is a lead surveyor for the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) responsible for surveying pharmacy technician programs for accreditation. She has been conducting surveys for ASHP since 2011 and enjoys the opportunity to advance technician training opportunities for students nationwide.
